Never fly fished? We give casting lessons on our own, small but full of fish, trout pond. From basic casting technique to setting the hook on a fish, our pond is a great, low pressure starting point. For lessons we charge $35.00 per hour for one; $10 per additional person. Then practice at your leisure while staying with us at Lopstick. Don't let the size of the pond fool you. It's 14 feet deep and totally spring fed. Rainbows in the pond range from 7 inches to 4 pounds! Here we teach fly casting techniques and kids of all ages have a great time landing hard fighting trout.
