Early September in the the Connecticut Lakes Region is a magical time. The nights get a little cooler, the days are a little shorter. The kids have gone back to school and the swamp maples are beginning to show a bit of color on the top and tips of their branches. Moose are on the move as they enter their rut mid month. Now is a great time for getting out on the backroads and exploring or fishing a remote pond.
Our photos are of longtime guests, the Lanes, with Courtney, fog over First Lake, and a heron fishing the small pond at Lopstick. Images include guests enjoying the ATV trails and the boat dock at our Back Lake property. Plan a visit to Pittsburg this September!
