We spent two days in Pittsburg, NH (northern woods of NH, close to Canadian Border). There is one paved road (Route 3), no cell phone service and lots and lots of beautiful wide open space, hiking trails, and peaceful lakes and back roads (unpaved) to explore. We stayed in Edgewater Cabin, which was practically brand new, big back deck with a gas grill and chairs, overlooking Perry Stream and Magalloway Mountain in the distance. (we hiked Magalloway, short, steep hike with gorgeous views from the summit). The staff at Lopstick are extremely friendly, pleasant and at your service. If you need a lot of nightlife and activity, Pittsburg isn’t the place for you. If you love nature, kayaking, peaceful nights and need to disconnect from the hectic pace of city life, this is the place!
