We wrote our high marks to you folks in the journal at the Kiley Cabin – hope you see it. I can only echo those remarks we made then. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kiley for 5 days. Lopstick is always a joy for us on our many returns – and our son’s family had their second stay at Lopstick staying in the Savard Cabin which they really liked.
We will be returning, but as much as I would like to make reservations now, it isn’t possible until we get further into next year and know the school calendar and the commitments our family will have. But we certainly intend to return!!
I must also say how much I appreciated a call from your office last night telling me that the cleaning girls had found some clothes which were left behind in our son’s cabin, Savard, and she graciously said she would mail them to him – a very nice gesture and we do thank you. Your desk staff has always shown great helpfulness to us and always makes us feel welcome as returning guests.
Our last evening was spent at Savard Cabin where we had s-mores over the fire pit and watched the fireworks – a great finale.
The biggest moment for our son and grandson was spotting a moose near the highway edge, where the moose stayed while they took many photos of clear shots. Kayaking, biking , hiking, fishing and relaxing/reading on the deck were also great experiences for all. We enjoyed the awesome view on the decks from both cabins and the ease of using the path going back and forth between cabins. After staying previous years in Angler’s Roost and Bears Den where our original reservations were, which had to be rescheduled for a change in school opening, it was a blessing and a treasure to have Kiley and Savard a substitute of the best and magnificent magnitude – they both are outstanding cabins with lovely rooms and furnishings with plenty of space. As always we hated to leave, we know you will always gain high marks from us. You even had splendid weather for us!
