Summer FIshing Report

Bill Bernhardt, our Director of Guide Operations and Head Guide, has checked in with the latest news from the Lopstick Outfitters shop
(next to the front desk).

Here’s his report:

“Because of the long winter this year and late runoff, the water flows are looking great for the upcoming summer season.
The water temps are staying low and so far the fishing has been excellent.
“Lopstick now has three full-time fishing guides: me, Chuck DeGray and Paul Starring. That means we have plenty of eyes and waders in the water to stay on top of our game. And that means we can accommodate larger groups of anglers who can take advantage of our many wade or drift adventures.

“In the shop this season, we have some new Orvis Clearwater rods and reels, and the new H3 rod from Orvis, which is considered top of the line. If you haven’t seen this one yet, stop in and take a look…it’s awesome!

“It’s shaping up to be a great summer season on the water. We invite all our fishing customers and clients to come back up to Lopstick and try their luck on the Trophy Stretch. Tight lines!”
